Framtiden

Det är nobelpristider och snart kommer BBC:s produktion Nobel Minds (tidigare Svt:s Snillen spekulerar). Det är ett småtrevligt program där årets pristagare diskuterar framtiden i populärvetenskaplig anda. Kanske var det det programmet Willard hade i åtanke när han skrev följande:

"We listen with a thrill and a shudder as our scientists and philosophers speculate on these subjects [the future]. Nearly always they speak of the future of the physical cosmos, and possibly of the human race as well. But they have no hope or thought of a future for the individual - not so much, even, as to discuss it." Dallas Willard, The Divine Conspiracy
